About This Trip
A short, easy safari to two of Kenya's best-known parks. We drive from Watamu to Tsavo East, stopping at Crocodile Point, then on to Amboseli, where elephants wander the wetlands below Mount Kilimanjaro. Game drives are in the cool mornings and evenings, when the animals are most active.

Day by Day
- 01
Watamu to Tsavo East National Park
Depart Watamu at 6:00am, passing through Kenya's largest forest, with a stop at Crocodile Point on the Galana River. Arrive at Tsavo East around 10:30am for an initial game drive, then lunch and rest, followed by a 3:30pm afternoon safari to view the savannah at sunset.

Tsavo East to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, travel to Amboseli, arriving for lunch. An afternoon game drive explores the wetlands and savannah, followed by a nature walk at Mzima Springs to observe hippos and birds — over 600 species recorded here.

Return to Watamu
A final morning safari in Amboseli, departing at 10:00am and arriving back in Watamu in the late afternoon.
